A board-certified periodontist based in Wilmington, Delaware, Dr. Jeffrey Felzer offers comprehensive care for gums and surrounding tissue. He addresses periodontal infection at all stages, from early gingivitis to advanced disease, and is adept at such interventional procedures as scaling and root planing. Dr. Jeffrey Felzer also offers a number of regenerative procedures, including bone and gum grafting, and has performed many dental implant procedures to help patients retain intact oral structures. Dr. Felzer holds a doctor of medical dentistry (DMD) from Temple University's School of Dentistry. After completing a general dentistry residency at Montefiore Medical Center in New York City, he became a resident in periodontology through a joint program offered by New York University and the New York Veterans Affairs Medical Center; in his final year, he was appointed chief resident.
